I stayed one night in this place and one night somewhere else. This was the better of the two but I would probably stay at Nathan's Villa next time after talking to the other travelers. Ten euros is about right. I'll go with "nothing special yet nothing unspecial" but I got my washing done at the next stop so I never got to find out that bit!

I was nothing special, yet nothing unspecial. Don't give them your washing. They missed out on the vital ingredient of washing powder, so my clothes stank all the way to Vienna. Plus, in the drying room things only seem to get wetter. Politey refuse if head-hunted on the train.

The cheapest room we could get was ten euros, and when we asked about laundry service they recommended a laundrette down the road to us! It's not a bad place to stay, but I'd definitely try somewhere else next time.

Brilliant hostel. The rooms are bright and spacious. Staff are very friendly, and it's quite close to the old town. The hostel organizes cheap enough trips to the salt mines and Auschwitz. Go to their desk in the train station as soon as you arrive, and don't be fooled by the hoards of dizzy daisies. Great dorms for five euros a night. What more could you ask for?
