The Little Havana Party Hostel truly lives up to its name, transporting Latin party vibes all the way to the heart of Krakow’s Old Town. If you’re looking for a booze-soaked stay in Krakow at a smart price, you’ll feel right at home in Little Havana.
The Location
This hostel is a short walk from the central plaza in Krakow’s Old Town; it’s difficult to imagine a more convenient spot for the typical tourist to post-up. The building is surrounded with shops, restaurants, and gorgeous architecture.
While there is a small sign on the building’s exterior wall, the hostel may be a touch difficult to find. Look for Papito’s, the Latin-themed bar found below the hostel that acts as the accommodation entrance. Continue to the back of the bar and you’ll see a large door and intercom. Press the button and staff will happily buzz you in.
The hostel is about a twenty-minute walk from the main bus station and a thirty-minute drive from the airport. Its central location makes sightseeing fun and easy.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The Little Havana Party Hostel specializes in dorms, ranging from six- to fourteen-bed rooms. Private rooms are also available. The dorm rooms are spacious enough to not feel claustrophobic. Each bunk is complete with comfy, warm bedding; two power outlets; and lockers below the bottom bed. Large fans and a heater are an added touch. The rooms could benefit from hooks to hang clothes or towels, however.
The hostel houses a large number of guests, yet you can usually find a free bathroom. Each of the building’s three floors contains three bathrooms with showers and toilets. It is a party hostel, so some guests may be a little less considerate with their toilet etiquette than desired. Even so, staff endeavour to keep the place sanitary, cleaning multiple times a day.
Showers are hot, with great water pressure. Air fresheners in the toilet stalls are an excellent touch.
Common Spaces
Little Havana offers one main common space, which houses reception, bar, lounge, kitchen, and dining room, all in one. This is where the “magic happens,” so to speak.
Between 8 and 11 a.m., guests are invited to a rather nice complimentary breakfast spread. The kitchen itself has everything required to cook a decent meal, including oil, salt and pepper.
In the evening, the main common space becomes less of an eatery and more of a bar. Guests are offered one complimentary beer within the first five minutes of 9 p.m., and drinking games like beer pong and flip cup are organized by staff. If you're here in the evening, you're partying.
Summary
Little Havana caters to the eighteen- to thirty-five-year old crowd, and that becomes obvious as soon as you arrive and receive your free “welcome shot.” The friendly and helpful staff encourage guests to join in the multiple party events available, including a nightly pub crawl and a boat party, even visiting rooms in the evening with free shots. If partying isn’t your thing, you may want to avoid the place. But if you're a party animal, you'll absolutely love your stay.

• From Krakow's Main Railway Station to our hostel:
• - From Krakow's Main Railway Station take the pedestrian underpass and head towards Pijarska Street. Walk through the park and take a second left (Florianska Street) which will lead you to the Main Market Square. Turn right at the square and head to the opposite side of the town hall (the large building in the middle of the square). Now head down Szewska Street and turn left on Jagiellonska street. Find a building number 10- we are here!
• From the Balice Airport:
• - Get on the direct train from Krakow Balice Airport do Krakow's Railway Station. From Krakow's Main Railway Station head towards Pijarska Street, then turn left into Florianska Street which will lead you to the Main Market Square. In the middle, on the right side of it is Szewska Street. Head towards Szewska street till and turn left to Jagiellonska street. Find a building number 10- we are here!
• - It takes around 40 minutes to get here by Taxi.
• - You can take 292 bus, it will take you to the east part of Main Train Station, from there you'll have to follow the directions given above.
• From the Main Bus Station:
• - The same directions as from the Main Railway Station. You can walk or take tram number 4, 13, 14, 24. Get off the tram in front of 'Teatr Bagatela.' It is only 100 meters away from our Hostel.
