For those that are more into nature, the Magnetawan Loop is one of the most popular canoes trips in Ontario and it passes through a series of different lakes and rivers with multiple portages along the way. The local area has a few provincial parks with some beautiful hiking and views. The town also has companies that offer river cruises and four-wheel-drive tours around the Georgian Bay so that you can become familiar with the beauty of the bay. The views of the Georgian Bay from the top of Tower Hill are also amazing and this is also the location of one of the town's most popular museums.
