The Location
Primavera Hostel is a little distance away from the key tourist areas in Barcelona, within the residential area of pleasant Eixample. The nearby metro stop of Verdaguer offers connections across the city and to the train stations. There are affordable airport shuttle buses from Plaça Catalunya, which is twenty minutes away on foot. Parking is not available at the hostel.
Attractions within walking distance include La Ramblas, Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia Basilica, and La Perdera House. There are plenty of dining and bar options nearby to suit a variety of budgets, which also attract local residents so you can enjoy a more authentic Barcelona experience.
Rooms and Bathrooms
This upstairs hostel offers private rooms for two to four guests, in addition to dorms for six to eight people (mixed and female options available). The dorm rooms have sturdy bunk beds with decent mattresses. Downsides are the limited power outlets in the rooms and lack of air conditioning. Room keys and locker padlocks are provided for security, with medium-sized, upright lockers available in the rooms; note that they do not fit full-size bags.
The shared shower rooms are unisex, with several shower cubicles and good hot water. The cubicles have sufficient space within them to change clothes.
Common Spaces
Primavera Hostel has a small kitchen, with good facilities for self-catering and food storage. Complimentary tea and coffee are available here throughout the day. Free dinner is provided once a week for guests.
There is a small lounge room with couches, tables and stools for guests to hang out, with music pumped through from reception. There are more seats and a computer for internet use in an adjacent small room. While there isn’t a television available, a book exchange and acoustic guitars are on offer for entertainment. The atmosphere in social areas is friendly but subdued, so it is certainly not a party hostel.
The free Wi-Fi has a good connection throughout the hostel. Some additional hostel features include laundry service for a fee, towels for hire, and free luggage storage.

Location
• From the airport, take the bus and get off at Plaza Catalunya.
• Walking from Plaza Catalunya:
• go straight up to Passeig de Gr�cia. Turn right in Carrer de Mallorca, continue walking 5 blocks until you reach number 330 or 129 (corner bulding), where we will be waiting for you.
• Public transportation:
• The Primavera Property can also be reached easily by train (FGC y RENFE) or metro Lines 4, 5 (until Verdaguer Station). Although the easiest way is by taxi once you have reached Plaza Catalunya (approx. 5� + 1�/suitcase).
• From Barcelona Airport (El Prat):
• Bus: The 'Aerobus' (shuttle bus) goes directly from outside the terminal every
• 5 minutes and it will cost around 5�. Buy a return ticket and you will
• have some discount. Get off at Pla�a Catalunya.
• Train (only if landing in terminal 2):
• There are signs inside the terminal to the train platform. Buy a T10 ticket. (This gives you 10 journeys on all metros, buses and trams in central Barcelona). From the airport there is only one train so you can't miss it. Get off at Passeig de Gracia station. Turn right in Carrer de la Mallorca, continue 5 blocks til you reach number 330 or 129 (corner bulding), where we will be waiting for you.
• From Girona's Airport:
• Take the bus to Estaci� Nord. From there you can either arrive by taxi, it will cost less than 5� and will take less than 5 minutes.
• Metro: take the metro from Arc de Triomf L1 (red line), switch to the yellow line L4 in Urquinaona and get of at Verdaguer station.
