Fortview House in Ballyconnell … Fortview House is simply wonderful. Accommodations are more than comfortable. The setting is idyllic. The friendliness and warmth of the hosts, Catherine and Sean, is beyond adequate description. I have now been back there three times, and will return again.
Keepers Arms in Bawnboy … Lovely stay, friendly owners and the food is superb! Excellent value for the money.
Fortview House in Ballyconnell … I discovered Fortview house, and what a warm and charming place to stay. The room I had was immaculate and the reception and treatment while I was there for five nights was beyond expectations. It took all of about three minutes to feel like I had come "home." I would highly recommend the Fortview House as a place to visit and spend a few nights while you plan your trip to Ireland. The pub is about three hundred yards away and that is a great time too. I will forever remember my first trip to Ireland for my friend's wedding, but I will return due to the warmth and hospitality I received during my stay at the Fortview House.
