Abbeywood in Westport … Abbeywood was so good to us. I cannot thank them enough for all the help they gave us. They went far beyond the call of duty to make our stay exactly what we needed. The hostel is nice and clean and close to town. Neil was running the front desk when we were there and he HAS to be the nicest and friendliest guy in the world! I would highly recommend this hostel.

Valley House Holiday Hostel in Achill Island … Stayed here a few months back July 2008. Have to say it was one of the best weekends ive had in a long time. From the moment we arrived at the hostel we were made to feel very welcome by the barman Pat at the time. As soon as we arrived we headed for the bar (as you do). The valley has a great homey atmosphere with the fire light for most of the day and it's just very cosy. At night they have two or three people who play traditional Irish music, which I personally thought was the best thing about the hostel and something which I looked forward to every night, also one of the musicians was a fantastic guitar player and just in general a really down to earth guy. The dorms in the hostel were a bit cold at night time but if you're coming in late at night after having a few jars you generally forget about being cold. Sli Na Hoige Hostel in Westport … The Sli Na Hoige is a small hostel with a beautiful atmosphere and very friendly people working there. It is right in the centre of the town and close to all the amenities. This is the cheapest hostel I stayed at in Ireland and the best value for your money.

Cong Hostel & Caravan & Camping Park in Cong … I stayed one night in early August 2008. I was happy with the accommodations. The self-catering kitchen and dining area were clean and surprisingly large, and the grounds offered the chance for sunshine and fresh air. The staff was friendly, courteous, and well-informed about the area, and they provided me with some special assistance in making last minute travel arrangements. I would stay there again.

Old Mill Holiday Hostel in Westport … A very nice and clean hostel. The staff was very helpful. Nice furnishings and details. The kitchen was well kept and clean. Although it would need some more touch-ups to catch up with the nice style of the hostel. Overall, one of the best I have seen in Ireland.

Abbeywood in Westport … A great place to stay close to the centre of Westport. Clean, warm and welcoming, we cannot recommend it highly enough. We really liked the freshly baked bread and coffee for breakfast every day!

Abbeywood in Westport … Forget the other hostels, go here – you'll see the difference. We can actually have a good rest in this hostel.

Old Mill Holiday Hostel in Westport … Great hostel. It's very well located, centric, and it feels cozy and really nice. It's clean, has a good atmosphere and a huge kitchen. There's no curfew. You get a security number to open the main door and you can get back whenever you want. If you are travelling to Wesport, you MUST stay here. Highly recommended.

Old Mill Holiday Hostel in Westport … The best. I enjoyed my time there. The rooms are enormous, 18 beds or so, a good way to get to know new people. Very centric and next to the cinema! Quiet and clean. If you go in summer you can have your meals outside; they have a table there. Very good hostel.
