Beach Haven Hostel in Waterford My boyfriend and I booked a couple nights at the hostel for our stay in Ireland - when we arrived we were met with utmost hospitality and most importantly - a welcoming smile! Avery was remodeling the hostel so though we booked a room at the hostel we actually were able to stay in a room at the B&B house at no extra cost and for €5 extra apiece we were able to show up in the morning for a FANTASTIC home-cooked breakfast (which apparently many of the hostel-goers walk next door for during their stay anyway and I don't blame them!). The room was fantastic and beautiful and felt so much like home which is so important when you're travelling! Right by the beach and not far from anything at all and just so scenic! Avery and Niamh were fantastic hosts and I would recommend this hostel or B&B to ANYONE travelling the area! THANK YOU to both Avery and Niamh for being so amazing and having such a great place to stay!
The Pilgrims Rest in Cappoquin A great place to stay. So clean and comfortable. We had a lovely time
touring around and found the location ideal with good home cooked food.
The Pilgrims Rest in Cappoquin Very comfortable stay, with plenty to do. The location is perfect for touring. I was able to visit lots of interesting attractions, and the hotel was very clean. Good food. Excellent value for the money and the staff was very warm and really friendly. Well done. I will be back.
The Pilgrims Rest in Cappoquin I have just had a wonderful stay at this hotel; it is the most welcoming and friendly place to stay. It is also very peaceful and tranquil and the rooms are clean and cozy. If you want to get away from it all this is a place to visit. The food is also good and there is a bar where you can sit by the fire and have a relaxing drink. There are plenty of lovely walks; just a great place to unwind.
The Pilgrims Rest in Cappoquin Excellent accommodation, and it has really good home-cooked food. The hotel is kept very clean and has a great log fire. We found lots of things to do in this very special part of Ireland. It is most beautiful and the hotel grounds and views will be sadly missed. We will be back.
The Pilgrims Rest in Cappoquin Over the past three years we have enjoyed this hotel. Just to mention a few things, the owners are two of the most wonderful people that you will ever meet. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. It is one of the best places to dine as they have a variety to select from and not to mention their homemade deserts. The area is wonderful, so picturesque and tranquil, yet everything was just a short distance away from local attractions. The rooms are so cozy and inviting. The evenings are great just to sit down by the fireplace and meet new friends and enjoy a nice glass of wine. The entertainment was really nice too. You got a feel for the locals and music. Everyone was talking, signing, and dancing. What a treat staying at this hotel! We spent Christmas there and had one of the best Christmas dinners ever with about thirty other people from various parts of Ireland and England. We had one of the most surprising occurrences. It snowed Christmas Day. What a special day for
The Pilgrims Rest in Cappoquin I've been in your establishment in the recent past. It was not a very good experience. They are trying hard but I think they are in the wrong location.
