Pittwater YHA is on the fringe of Sydney in a beautiful bushland setting. It's a hillside lodge nestled over Morning Bay in Ku-ring-gai National Park on the northern suburbs of Sydney.
This hostel is an easy escape from the busy city life of Sydney and ideal for groups. Attractions include bush walks to lookouts and Aboriginal engravings, plus from the hostel you can see native birds, wallabies, possums, and goannas.
Part of the fun is travelling to the hostel. It is an easy bus ride from the centre of Sydney, then a short ferry ride across gorgeous Pittwater from Church Point. A short walk up the hill through the national park brings you to the hostel.
Relax and unwind on the verandah with great water views. Go canoeing with the hostel canoes. Bushwalk locally. Or just doze in the hammock.
Note: there are no shops near the hostel – please bring all food with you (there is a small shop at Church Point) and a torch if arriving after dark.
