Mui Ne is a small, coastal town in the southeast of Vietnam. This is a perfect place for you to explore a little bit more of Vietnam and be able, at the same time, to relax in peaceful beaches. Although it's small, along the coast you'll find plenty of resorts, restaurants, bars, cafes, tourist agencies, hostels, and rent-a-moto's -- something typical around this area.
The first thing you'll see in Mui Ne is the nice tropical beach. Sometimes has strong wind -- which makes it really good for kitesurfing and you'll be able to find a few schools for you to try it -- but it is a great spot to relax. There are a lot of amazing places to visit around Mui Ne -- don't miss exploring the red canyon by foot, sliding down the white sand dunes on a sand board (you can rent it with kids that are always around, but bargain the price), and watching a sunset in the golden sand dunes (make sure to get some good photos of the sunset!).
There are a few buses that you can use to get to Mui Ne that go along the entire coast -- you can use a hop on/hop off bus for the entire coast from Hanoi to Ho Chi Min.
The hostels in Mui Ne are usually very basic. Don't expect good common facilities; sometimes there won't be kitchens in Mui Ne's hostels, but food is something cheap here in every bar and you need to taste some local seafood. You'll easily find a hostel in Mui Ne; all of them are well located because the town is really small.
