Mui Ne Hills Backpackers is guaranteed to blow you away! With two swimming pools and a jacuzzi, native English-speaking receptionists and animators, and activities organised every night, even if you are not into partying, you will love the atmosphere at this modern and trendy hostel that offers the standards of a resort hotel!
The Location
As its name indicates, the hostel is located on a hill, but there is no need to worry as it can be easily approached from the main street along the coast and even with a backpack, it won't take you more than ten minutes to climb it. When you get to the top, you will see that there are several accommodation providers which use the name Mui Ne Hills, but you should turn to the left and keep following the signs for "backpackers." Although the hostel's location is not central and if you want to visit the Fairy Stream, the sand dunes or the fishing village, you have a fair way to go, there is enough to do at the hostel to keep you entertained for days! Moreover, the view from the place will definitely compensate you for not being in the centre!
Rooms and Bathrooms
The hostel is huge and offers rooms on three different levels. The dorms are spacious and come with lockers and a big shelf where everybody can put their things. The beds are comfortable and equipped with individual electronic plugs, but the downside of staying here is that you will hear the music from the party outside until late into the night! The rooms are en suite but there are plenty of other bathrooms and toilets available at the end of the corridor as well even if those ones are less spacious. You get a towel and room key upon check in, but you have to pay a deposit that is more than twice the price of your bed so you have to make sure to take very good care of them. The rooms have air conditioning but the air conditioner is centrally switched off during the night.
Common Spaces
The common spaces offered by Mui Ne Hills Backpackers are incredible and definitely above the standard of a hostel. They include two pools and a jacuzzi with a massive poolside area equipped with sunchairs, outdoors double beds, and hammocks as well as a billiards table, a ping-pong table, and a massive bar. There is even a tatoo parlour on site where guests get a massive discount.
From 5 p.m. onwards, there are activities organised by the fun, English-speaking staff. These are different every day of the week and include BBQs, quiz nights, and discos. While the place favours those who prefer to party, you definitely won't feel excluded even if you don't.
Summary
Mui Ne Hills Backpackers is excellent value for the price! It is more of a party hostel and it will definitely suit you better if you are just planning to relax near the pool the whole day, as the only downside of the place is that it is quite far from the sights and attractions Mui Ne has to offer.

Location
• If you come from Ho Chi Minh City then you should ask the busdriver to drop you at our hotel, as we are located BEFORE all the various busterminals in Mui Ne. This will save you a taxi ride back from the busterminal. From the mainroad you walk up about 300 meters to reach Mui Ne Hills Backpackers
• If you come from Hoi An, Nha Trang or Dalat, then our hotel is located AFTER al the various busterminals and we would advise you to take a short taxiride from the busterminal to our hotel. The distance from the busterminal depends on the buscompany you will be traveling with as all buscompanies have different addresses for their busterminals in Mui Ne
