Description
Goreme village makes its living from agriculture and tourism. It is located in the middle of the national park, at one end of the Valley of the Pigeons.
In the village, ancient or recent houses can be found along with earth pillars that are still used as houses, warehouses or stables.
The natural charm of this village is becoming more and more disguised by the boardings, signs and shops which are springing up to attract tourists.
Many boarding houses welcome travellers. The open-air museum in Göreme has many outstanding Byzantine churches. The village is also the end of a walk through the Valley of the Pigeons, from Uçhisar.

We had a great stay. Breakfast included was an omelete with veggies, cereal, tea, and instant coffee. The owner is really helpful and offers a free tour to nearby Love Valley.

The owners were really kind, I enjoyed the staying, the calm and warm "social room" upstairs, loved the breakfasts. I can only say positive things about it, and all of it for that very cheap price? It is a best-buy!

What can I say- this place is all of what a hostel should be. Very affordable clean and comfortable place to sleep, where you can easily meet other travelers and awesome helpful and friendly staff. Actually, more than just being helpful Apo and Cihan were like brothers to me during my stay. I had a problem wıth a tour agency ın Pamukkale and they were very wıllıng to help me solve the problem (even ıf ıt was not related to them ın any way).
The building itself has a lot of character: its in a cave and it has a nice terrace with a good view and breakfast was very complete and always served fresh. Also its just a few steps from Goreme center and the path to get to the sunset panoramıc vıew ıs very close too.
Overall I highly recommend this place :) ım sure you wont regret ıt!

Apo, the owner, is awesome. He was so friendly and helpful and eager to get the best deals for us. Breakfast was great, good location and lots of tours on offer. We did the green tour only and it was really interesting.

Excellent location at an excellent price, and even better, it truly is carved out of the rocks, like the other cave dwellings there. I was worried that the "cave" room might just be really dark (ha,ha) but the whole place is clearly carved out in the same way the other cave dwellings are around the area. Loved the staff...they went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. They are busy every day making improvements so it will be even better as the days go by. We met great friends there in the lobby, where there was free wifi and even free tea and coffee (so nice not to be paying 2 TL for every thimble full of tea) all day long. It was very cozy there during the cold winter days when we visited, and we were grateful for that.

Situated at one end of town it is within five minutes walking distance of all amenities in the main street. The rooms are tidy and clean and QUIET. The staff were very friendly and nothing was a hassle. The breakfast was fast and yummy food. We thought this hostel was fantastic value for money and would highly recommend it for all travellers on all budgets wanting to stay in a 'real' place in Gorme. Definately a highlight of our trip
