Mates Place Sydney is an extremely centrally located budget hostel located on the corner of Darlinghurst Rd & Roslyn St in Kings Cross - Sydenys number one night life area. It is not a very large hostel, but has an excellent location & recently upgraded faciities. Included is a large new gas kitchen which is open 24hrs, along with a tv room with pay TV on the new Plasma screen. Although we only have 84 beds on 3 floors there are a total of 16 showers & for 14 rooms including 9 rooms with ensuites.
All rooms are air conditioned! & we provide free linen & towels for guests use. We offer free airport pick-up between 5.30am and 8.00pm if you stay for 3 nights (call the hostel (contact details given after booking) when you arrive at the airport). At the international airport the pick up point is called the meeting point,it is a big blue wall between arrival gates a/b and c/d opposite a flower shop. There are weekly PIZZA nights on Monday at 6.30pm - the fun Aussie way to make new mates.
I try to make each persons stay in the hostel as comfortable as possible by providing travel information & assistance and my aim is to provide a level of service & product for a price that will ensure no complaints!

• We are less than 5 minutes walk from kings cross train station.
• Exit Kings Cross Station on Darlinghurst Rd, cross the road, turn left, walk 100m, turn right into Roslyn St and our front door is 10 metres from the corner - opposite EMPIRE Hotel Bar. Call on 1800 688 366 if you get lost.
• We also arrange airport pickk ups.
