Mental Hospital or Pediatric Hospital or Clinic Hospital I stayed there and it was an awful experience even though the building and the apartment is clean with a little garden. I have to survive there with american citizens who came here in PANAMA to get surgery and stay there to recover and and a crazy women who pretend to study neurology and was there with her two little uneducated little girls. It was so bad and unpleasant i even not pay my last night i stay there because i think this place should not be referred as a Backpacker Hostel. It is a rip off. Do not go there. — erick khazz , french (2007-11-18) Clean, but rude I have stayed for two weeks at the Hostel de Clayton, and have been thoroughly unimpressed by it. While the accommodations are very clean, the staff is extremely cheap and rude. While they advertise rooms for $12, this does not prove to be true. The rooms are actually $15, which wouldn't be such a big deal if the weren't such internet nazis. They charge $1 a hour for usage, which is very reasonable, but there were three of us with laptops who merely wanted to upload and download email. Even though all three of us could have easily accomplished this within the allotted hour, each of us were charged for the full hour separately. The staff spends his day monopolizing both the only computer and television. Also Clayton is nowhere near the city center. If you do not have a car it is a $12 taxi ride to get into town. If you want to see Panama under the auspice of living in a typical United States suburban neighborhood then this is the place for you. — Tim , USA (2007-05-25)
