El Machico Hostel is located in Panama City, the most developed city in Central America. Panama City is the main hub for traveling in Panama and in Central America, so many backpackers fly here and spend a few days in the city.
The Location
El Machico is in the newer part of the town, where most of the skyscrapers are. To reach the hostel there are several buses coming from the two airports that stop less than five minutes' walking away. Or a taxi ride to the international airport is around twenty-five minutes, depending on traffic. Around there are restaurants and a big supermarket is at a ten-minute walking distance.
Rooms and Bathrooms
It offers both privates and dorms. Dorms have bunk beds and all rooms have air conditioning, so there is a pleasant temperature at night. Mattresses are comfortable and new and bedsheets are on a much higher level compared to normal hostels. The rooms are very spacious, so it is comfortable to leave the backpacks open on the floor. Each bed has plugs for electricity but no personal light. Lockers are available but one needs his own padlock. Bathrooms are outside the rooms, shared with the rest of the guests and they are large and showers have hot water. Soap is available but no shampoo. The hostel is always kept well cleaned.
Common Spaces
There is a swimming pool with sun beds all around and some inflatable games so you can relax and enjoy . There is also a common kitchen so guests can cook; cooking equipment is new and perfectly working. Free breakfast is offered every morning (it's pancakes with bananas) from 5 to 9 a.m. There is also an area with sofas and a table and there is a TV with PlayStation4 so guests can enjoy and play together. There is also a computer that is free to use. The vibe is relaxed and it is easy to meet people chilling in the pool or playing PlayStation. The hostel also arranged bike tours and pub crawls so one can easily interact with other guests. On the weekend, there is a bit of a party vibe and customers usually play beer pong before heading out to hit the bars.

The hostel offers a high-quality stay with great mattresses, air conditioning, and a perfectly working kitchen. Free breakfast is a plus and the pool and the PlayStation allow customers to have fun during their stay.

• El Machico Hostel, located on Panama City's Heart, really close to the Cinta Costera, if travelling by taxi we are locates on the same street as Plaza Punto and Marbella's Metro pharmacy, right next to A-Banda, which is an spanish restaurant.
• How get there from the bus terminal from Albrook:
• If travelling by metro bus from albrook tell the driver you need to stop at Aquilino de la Guardia and there cross the bridge of Avenida Balboa and go to the Calle Aquilino de la Guardia, walk about 170 meters, at the junction turn to the right to Calle 47 Este, keep going in this street about 200 meters you will find us on the right hand side.
• How get there from the international Airport from Tocumen:
• If travelling by metro bus from Tocumen Airport tell the driver you need to stop at Aquilino de la Guardia bus stop. From there go to the Calle Aquilino de la Guardia, walk about 170 meters, at the junction turn to the right to Calle 47 este, keep going in this street about 200 meters you will find us on the right hand side
