Purple Turtle used to be magic, and now it's lost in space forever! Purple Turtle was my second home everyday after work -- about seven or eight years ago. my friend Laurika and i loved it there -- the smell, the music, happiness. about two years ago, i visited cape town, hooked up with some old friends and decided purple turtle was the place to go, for old times sake. we were all so disappointed. it felt like we just walked into a shabeen in the ghetto's. how did it suddenly just become so low class. it makes me sad. cheap lower class people hanging there now. i would not recommend purple turtle to anyone. you would just end up stressing that you will get robbed. it's never too late to clean up the mess.
