Great for the price
Nothing extra really, but the room was nice, with a bath room and shower in the room, as well as AC available. The tv reception made the tv unwatchable. Very frustrating trying to watch a World Cup soccer game from the hotel room, but other than the World Cup, people shouldn't be watching tv in their hotel in such a beautiful city. The bed sagged, but it wasn't the worst I've slept on. The place was pretty quiet, located about 2 blocks form Termini train station, and the internet works. For the price, it was a good deal.
We (mature-aged couple) booked for the Ariana and were given a room under the name of Bella Roma -- clearly the same people run several accommodation houses. The location is very close to all main sights in that area. Good cafes nearby and the streets are well lit and felt safe. The room was very newly renovated and very very good to stay in. Secure and very clean. Bathroom is small but in Europe that's how things are, live with it. Sergio was very helpful and made sure that we could find our way around the sights easily. We had no troubles at all and would happily stay there again.
This is the second hostel I ever stayed in and I like it. The location is very close to the central terminal (from where you can reach everywhere in Rome). Ariana (and Elena, as it's called) is part of hotel Hollywood and the hostel is a renovated appartment with three rooms and a small kitchen. We booked a twin room (got a double but it worked). The bathroom is good but the water pressure not so good. If one wants hot water in the shower you have hardly no pressure at all. One woman workes there and come and go all of the time, and sits in the hallway. She was really nice and helpful if we needed anything. You do get a small breakfast there. A croissant and small Italian toast with marmelade. In general it was clean and calm. They didn't take credit card. We liked it so we're going back there for our last day here in Italy.
Very nice room. Great Wifi. A little confusing to find.
We were checked to the room of B&B owner's "friend" not Ariana's one -- so we had e.g. no microwave as expected. Next day we had to move to another room w/o any clear reason.
Nice place, very close to train station.
Very nice. There is nearly no place to take the breakfast, but for this price it's ok.
B&B Ariana is located very close to Termini. It's a very good place to stay in Rome for a weekend.
It is very good place! very close to Termini, and when i was there, i had all keys from all doors, so i was independent from any reception. Also they have very nice small garden near entrance! Room was very beautiful, extremely clean. I love this place!
I don't think we actually stayed at B&B Ariana, we slept in another building with great rooms. Our flight was delayed for an hour, so we arrived at 1am, I had said we would get there at mid night. The staff wasn't very nice when taking us to our room. Breakfast was good, towels were provided in our rools, there was a TV, mini-fridge, but no kitchen for our personal use. Wi-fi can only be used in the little room where we have breakfast, it is not everywhere, and there is no hanging out lobby.
It's not a bad choice.
It's difficult to find it, because there is no sign outside marking "Ariana". You have to ring the flat "Sergio house".
Perfect location, very little place in kitchen for breakfast, if you want to eat more is good thing to bring your own cheese or what you want, because they give only bread, marmalade and butter.
Overall opinion: good value for money and I recommend it.
Nice cheap accommodation if you want to stay central and dont need luxus! Room was very small but was cleaned everyday. Small italian breakfast included and you can use the kitchen. Good offer for small pockets...
The room was very nice, I really enjoyed to stay there. It was clean, comfort and affordable...I will recommend for everyone who want to go to Rome and need Hostel
It is said to be a hotel but it is not an hotel even do not have a special entrence more like a room rent pension. I have booked a double bed room with bathroom but when I arrive the owner was really relax saying that they do not have any ensuite only shared bathroom. Breakfast was also terrible. Location may be not such bed, closed to train station but I do not recommend anyone this not/hotel.
One of the best hostel ever I stayed. The staffs are so friendly. The hostel location is very near to the Roma Termini station. We can reach major tourist spots very easily.
The breakfast is excellent. Wifi Internet connection is available.
On the whole a valuable hostel for the money what we paid.
ok accommodation
- Easy to reach -once you made the reservation you resive intractions to get there
- once you reach there they are very nice with you
- I stayed a week and I have nothing to reproach them
Staff is very helpful. We can deposit our luggage after check-out with no-charge.
hmm was not so impressed, but I stayed only for one night so doesn't really matter. I recommend it only for a few days.
Very nice place and location.
Very nice place!! Nice breakfest!I recomend this place!
good place to be.
the only thing is the thin doors at the rooms that reduces the feeling of intimacy. overall good value for money. be prepared to feel hungry after breakfast. Capuccino is great though.
the hotel has perfect location ( next to Termini Station). the staff is positive and welcoming. We spent perfect vacation in Rome :-)
