In order to avoid problems the best is to say in advance the time you arrive because is an apartment with bedrooms that not always is the owner. Comfortable and safe. Simple breakfast and some noise because there is a restaurant close by. Good location.

The worst experience ever. Having made and confirmed our reservation at the Maian well in advance (through a different site) we arrived at this B&B to a closed door and no one to meet us. Well, siesta time, we thought, and went off to have lunch. However, two hours later, it was the same story. We tried to ring the numbers we had no answer. We went to the tourist information office to check the numbers and to ask them to ring for us no reply. Eventually, we found a different hotel.

As we came back to London, there was an e-mail from the Maian, sent on the morning of our arrival, as we were on the plane, saying they made a "booking mistake" and there was no room available any more. Having sent them an outraged letter, we received an incredibly rude reply with a threat to charge our credit card with a "no show" fee. Don't deal with those people!
