Nice atmosphere in a relatively safe location. However, despite advertisements of cheap rooms and despite the building appearing to be empty, I was told $12 was as cheap as I could get. Desperate, I took it, but I never saw any other guests. The two staff I met never returned a greeting, either, and neither seemed to do much but watch TV. I've stayed in friendlier places. And shouldn't any place designed for backpackers have a common area to meet other travelers in?
