we loved visiting this place. never before has a hostel been so kind and welcoming. Even if we become rich millionaires, we'll always stay at BlueHostel!

I'm reluctant to give away the beautiful 'secret' that is BlueHostel in case too many people learn about it and the place gets too full for us and the prices increase! Absolutely perfect - even without a lift! Perfectly placed and lovely staff. We'll be back.

A room at the Blue Hostel is more like having your own apartment in the centre of Rome. It has brilliant service, a fabulous location, and an excellent price. There was an excellent cafe on the corner!!!

What a wonderful hostel! A really good base for discovering Rome! Close to Termini and the Metro, it is ideal for a base whilst touring the eternal city. It's clean and in a lovely situation opposite a church, it is also quiet and safe so I fully recommend this hostel to anyone!!

The Blue Hostel Reviews from the Web

Wonderful location. Helpful enthusiastic staff. 300 year old ceiling. Comfortable, pleasant decor of room.

Super dope hostel, just not a fan of how difficult it was to find and how complicated the actual process of getting to the room was. The guy who runs it is very cool and helpful

I had an amazing experience in Blue Hostel in Rome, such a cozy place.

Its clean, convenient and has all the facilities you need. The location is great and Ercole is amazing, helpful and welcoming!

I absolutely recommend this hostel!!!

Lovely spot, very helpful with a map, more like an apartment without a kitchen than a hotel room. Amazing hosts with lots of info and very quiet at night.

Really enjoyed our stay

Great place to stay in Rome. Well located, beautiful clean rooms in an historical building, nice facilities, and free water/espressos. Andrea was very helpful, friendly and accommodating when we arrived a bit early and wanted to check out a bit later. Would also highly recommend following the BlueHostel map recommendations, all the places we went to were spot on!

Liked: The location is one of the best for the price, along with the discovery that the interior decor is beautiful. The room felt secure and homely. Didn't like: The climb up the stairs - but hardly a dislike as caused no issues

Really friendly and helpful welcome in the eternal city :-). We will come back

Outstanding accommodation, perfectly matched to the online description. Staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful, outlining key landmarks and features of the neighbourhood which made my stay idyllic. The room itself was spotless and the bed very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hostel for comfort, privacy, relaxation and excellent proximity to key landmarks within walking distance - ideal for couples or independent travellers. Thank you, I will be back!

Liked: Very well located right next to Termini. Reasonably priced and very clean and safe. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. Didn't like: There is no gathering area or bar, only rooms, so the social aspect is lacking. The wifi was also very poor.

Liked: Hidden away just down from a beautiful square and close to Termini, the Blue Hostel is the perfect place to stay in Rome. The room was lovely, clean and well kept. The bathroom was perfect. Riccardo was a great help pointing us in the right direction when we got there. He gave us loads of great tips about what to see and how to get around. Didn't like: Difficult to find negative comments to make. The bed we had was particularly hard, more like a futon - but we actually found it to be incredibly comfortable after a long day walking the city.

Liked: a very nice welcoming! Didn't like: Beds were too small

Liked: Nearly everything - comfortable, close to railway station, lovely attentive staff. Didn't like: At times it might have been nice to have been in a hostel 'proper' rather than a hotel environment.

We had a fantastic stay in Blue hostle! All the rooms are newly renovated and beautifully designed (which can sometimes be quite hard to find in Italy). The location was perfect; only a short walk away from Roma termini. It was clean and had a small fridge and a kettle for making tea. On arrival we were given a map of Rome with resterant recommendations on the back. When choosing where to eat these were incredibly helpful, and we made a special effort to go to as many of the recommendations as possible which were all as good as the map said. Thankyou Blue Hostle!

We walked for 3 straight days exploring the beautiful city of Rome. Blue Hostel is located conveniently from the train station and all the main attractions. There's also a great gelateria place (nutella is a must try) and a bar (crema de bombona is to die for!) just below Blue Hostel. Marcelo welcomed us when we arrived and he was very helpful in giving us a rundown of the city -- from local restaurants to bus routes etc.

Liked: The room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Didn't like: The four flights of stairs! Shower was a little small for a tall male.

Housed in a former convent built during the 17th century,
Bluehostel provides fantastic double or triple rooms in a great location, a short walking distance away to the Colosseum and every important site.

It' an ideal solution for couples or friends looking for beautiful, safe, clean and quiet designer rooms.

Every room at Bluehostel has en-suite bathroom and shower, air conditioning, Lcd TV, free wifi and wooden floors.
The rooms are daily cleaned and tastefully refurbished and are decorated with excellently preserved traditional ceilings.
The area is great, close to everything that Rome can offer within nice walking distance.
The best for those who like to escape from mass tourism and enjoy the real atmosphere of the city!

Priceless tips by the owner on where to eat, what to do and how to jump the queue!
