David City is a modern city located in the Pacific West of Panama, and is conveniently situated on the Pan-American Highway (a long stretch of highway that stretches the entire length of the Americas).

David City has a number of casinos, and a lively nightlife, with several festivals that occur throughout the year. The drink of choice in David City -- and much of Central America -- is rum (in Spanish, it's "ron"). Panama’s local rum, called Carta Vieja, can be purchased locally at all bars and supermarkets within Panama. David City is also a good base to explore some of the surrounding region, and to partake in some of the regions adventure spots, such as water rafting, canyoning, and rock climbing. Los Pozos de Caldera hot springs is a popular natural spot located a few kilometers from the city.
