Yellow Sub Club Hostel Reviews

Description

The Yellow Submarine is a private family-owned Hostel situated in downtown Budapest; a stone's throw from Nyugati train station and an array of tourist highlights and exciting night spots. The 'Yellow Sub' was established in 1996 and has always been a popular spot among young and forever young backpackers looking for a centrally located fun place to stay. Since 1996 little has changed except everything - we are changing according to your need and deeds.
You will find a million things to do & be at any time of the year on any budget in many many ways.
Whether you need a bunk in one our dorms, a single, a double, a triple, or a quad room where to accommodate your needs. Special arrangements can be quickly and easily made for big or small groups.

In addition to our main Hostel we can also offer you private rooms or apartments in the neighbourhood. All major credit cards accepted.
The 'Sub' features a fun common area equipped with cable Tv, internet access, laundry services, cold drinks, a travellers' lending/swapping' library and daily updated info board. You get a 'Yellow Sub' T-shirt or a cap after several nights staying.

And it looks like we are becoming specialists in entertaining organised outings: Yellow Sub Walking Tours, our famous Eger wine tour 3 times a week, Balaton, Aquapark and airport transfers with our brand new, confy, air-con minibus. We are flexibile to take you anywhere you want to get in Hungary. Our easy-going tour guides will give you an unforgettable experience. Safe caving adventures for amateurs let by professionals three times a week. If you are lucky enough to spend your Sunday with us, you are kindly invited for our famous home made red-hot-chilly Goulash Party (with a glass of wine) for free.

Whether you need a recommendation for a good city tour, information on the thermal bath where to eat, the great night life, almost anything, our multilingual staff ('The Crew') is ready to apply their knowledge of Budapest and the surrounding areas to help you out in way that will make your stay with us and your visit to beautiful Budapest a more pleasurable experience.

Warning:
If you're arriving by train please be prepared to meet with our lovely competitors' hasslers working at the train stations (and on the trains from the Hungarian border) telling you captivating stories about their outstanding services; mostly at the expense of our reputation To this say stay on course and come and check us out for yourself!
