Hostel Casa Blanca Sucre is built in a Colonial house. Is not far away from the city center of Sucre (Bolivia). It has a young atmosphere because you can meet other backpackers from around the world. You can use all the common areas after checkout without any charge.
The Location
Casa Blanca Hostel is not located in the middle of the Colonial city center but not far away from it (ten minutes' walking). If you arrive in the central transit station you can take a public bus (line A, three, or four) and reach the hostel easily. The hostel is well located, because in ten minutes you can arrive to the main market and in five minutes you can find the biggest supermarket in the center of Sucre.
Rooms and Bathrooms
If you want some privacy, you can find different kinds of private rooms. You can book a private room with a bunk bed or double bed with shared or private bathroom (the prices are different). The other option if you travel with friends or family is to book a private room of two bunk beds (four people) with shared bathroom. The ideal option for backpackers are the shared rooms. You can choose between a four-, eight-, and twelve-person shared rooms. The best thing is that each shared room has its own private bathroom. It also has a locker, an individual light, and a plug to charge your devices. All the bathrooms are equipped with hot shower, toilet, sink, and a mirror.
Common Spaces
The hostel has different separated spaces. It has two open areas, the first one is in the entrance (smoking area) and the other one is between the reception and the kitchen (not allowed to smoke). They are equipped with hammocks, tables, and chairs. The reception, the dining room, and the living room are in the same space. Also it has a PC and board games. There is an exchange of clothes, there's a box that you can leave or take clothes and shoes. It has a fully equipped, big kitchen and next to it there are two bathrooms.
Summary
On the one hand, if you are looking a place that you can meet people, this is the best option. On the other hand, the common areas like the kitchen and the dining room are so crowded during meal time. It offers laundry service (there is a per-kilo charge), free luggage storage (they store the bags down the stairs, not in a private room), and a good breakfast included in the price of the room. The Wi-Fi signal doesn't work really well, especially when there are a lot of people using it.
