• 1. From Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)
• By Airport Shuttle Bus (60 THB/person) (at Gate7, the 1st floor of Passenger Terminal)
• S1 shuttle bus comes directly to Khao San Road stop, then walk about 5-10 minutes to Jam Hostel or take a TukTuk or a metered taxi for 40-50 THB. The bus departs every half an hour, from 6 AM to 8 PM daily.
• By Taxi: It usually costs around 450 THB including the toll way fee by a metered taxi. Depending on the traffic, the taxi ride takes around 1 hour to reach our hostel.
• 2. From Don Muang Airport (DMK)
• By Airport Shuttle Bus (50 THB/person) (Terminal 1 at exit No.6 and Terminal 2 exit No.12)
• A4 shuttle bus also comes directly to Khao San Road stop, then walk about 5-10 minutes to Jam Hostel or take a TukTuk or a metered taxi at about 40-50 THB.
• The bus departs every half an hour, from 7 AM to 11 PM daily.
• By Taxi: It usually costs around 400 THB including the express way surcharge by a metered taxi. Depending on the traffic, the taxi ride takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour to reach our hostel.
• 3. From Siam (Central World, Siam Paragon, Siam Square)
• By Bus: You can take non-air-conditioned Bus No.15 at Siam and get off at National Theatre (the last stop), then walk to Jam Hostel. The bus stop is in front of Siam Square, on the same side of the road, close to BTS Siam Station. The ticket is about 15 THB. The whole bus ride is from 40 minutes to more than 1 hour, depending on the traffic.
• By Taxi: It costs about 100-150 THB by a metered taxi. It may take from 30 minutes to 1 hour to the hostel, depending on the traffic. We kindly suggest you avoid rush hours (from 7 AM to 10 AM, and from 4.30 PM to 7.30 PM) when you travel the city.
• 4. By Chao Phraya River Boat
• You can also take Chao Phraya Express Boat (Orange Flag) or Chao Phraya Tourist Boat (Blue Flag) and get off at Pier No.13 Phra Arthit. Then walk towards Phra Sumen Fortress along the road. After the fortress, you will see Banglamphu Museum, PTT Gas Station, and then Jam Hostel.
• 5. From Khao San Road
• Walk to Chanasongkram Police Station, then turn to the side where has a Starbucks Coffee. Walk straight to the Banglamphu intersection with traffic lights (about 350 meters), then turn to the left and walk towards a white fortress (Phra Sumen Fortress). You will soon see Jam Hostel. It is a 5-floor white building on the opposite side of a 7-11 store, between Mad Money Hostel and PTT Gas Station.
