Hostel Rango Boutique is one of the newest and most stylish hostels in Medellín.
The Location
Rango Boutique Hostel is located in a very modern part and the most touristic and safe area of Medellín, called El Poblado. It is very easy to access from the airport and from the two bus terminals. Rango is close to Avenida Poblado, the main road where many buses pass by. It is a good fifteen-minute walk from the metro station. Taxis are very affordable. Rango is surrounded by hip cafes and restaurants, supermarkets, and a pharmacy. You won't miss anything. The party zone “Parque Lleras” is footsteps away, and there are bars and clubs with salsa and reggaeton music as well as traditional restaurants and rooftop bars.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Rango is such a new, innovative, and stylish hostel that feels like a hotel with a social atmosphere to meet international travelers. The hotel offers four- and six-bed dorms with and without bathrooms as well as a deluxe twin room and a luxurious private room. The dorms are spacious and the decorations are lovely. The bunk beds are super comfortable. Ever guest has its own locker, little light at the bed, and plug ins and hooks. The bath is clean, stylish, and has a feel-good atmosphere, almost like in a spa. Some rooms even have a view to a green, exotic park just outside the hostel.
Common Spaces
Rango provides a range of different common areas to make you feel just like home. There are many seating areas provided at the hostel to chill, make new friends, or read books and magazines in several languages. The information boards as well as handouts on activities provide info on tours such as a coffee tour or mountain biking. There is an area to have breakfast and a stylish, brand-new restaurant. All day, guests are allowed to take water and coffee for free. The highlight of the hostel is the lovely rooftop terrace, where you can relax with new friends, do yoga, and enjoy the view over Medellín. The hotel is a very cool place to meet travelers from all over the world, enjoy breakfast together, interact with locals, or go to the Medellín's best pizza place right next door.

This place feels like a second home while traveling. Breakfast is amazing, staff will answer all your questions, Wi-Fi is good, and the area is safe and easy to find. And the great rooftop terrace tops everything!

Location and Contact
Location
• From International Airport Jose Maria Cordova:
• You can take a bus to San Diego and then a cab that costs $12.000 pesos or about $3.50 USD. It will take you around 40 minutes to get to San Diego.
• From Olaya Herrera Airport (City Airport) or Terminal Sur Bus Station:, the Easiest way is to take a cab that will cost $8.000 pesos or about $2.50 USD.
• From Terminal Norte Bus Station: Taxi costs $12.000 PESOS or about $3.50 USD.
• From the Metro get off at 'Estacion El Poblado' and then walk straight up calle 10 (about 10 mins) until you get to Parque el Poblado and then take a right into Avenida el Poblado. Walk two blocks until you see Exito express and Pasteuri pharmacy and take a left into Calle 8. You will find us at the end of the street. If you do not want the 10-minute uphill walk to the hostel just grab a cab and pay $6.000 pesos or about 2 USD.
