Queen Hostel has a really cool vibe to it and is conveniently located; it literally has everything you'd need in Milan!
The Location
Queen Hostel is easily accessible to loads of public transport options, so getting around during your stay is super easy. The hostel sells single-ride metro tickets if you need them, but day tickets are available at the news agency over the road.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms here are super large and spacious, so you'll have plenty of room to move around and keep your stuff. They have medium-sized lockers in the rooms for use as well. The beds are comfortable and they leave sheets and blankets in the bed, but you will need to make it yourself.
The bathrooms here are a bit of a letdown; while they look great, there are a few issues. Firstly, there are no locks on the toilet doors, so expect that someone may walk in on you doing your business in peak hours like the morning. Also, the showers are nothing more than a lukewarm dribble in most cubicles; in others, it sprays every direction other than down.
Common Spaces
The whole ground floor of Queen Hostel is communal. There is a bar behind the reception, from which you can order drinks and food throughout the day using your room key to create a tab that you pay at the end when you leave. There are loads of tables and chairs around this area and also loads of electrical sockets to plug in while you socialise or quietly enjoy a beer. They have a pool table too.
Further into the bar, there is a kitchen that you can use to cook all of your own meals -- which is fabulous, as you don't often find this in hostels in Italy. Out back, there is also a lounge-room-type area with a few books on the shelf and some DVDs and a player if you want to relax and watch a movie. It is a really well set out place for hanging out and meeting people.

• FROM CENTRAL STATION (Milano Centrale FS):
• Option 1: Tram 9 (25 minutes)
• - Go to Piazza IV Novembre, take Tram 9 towards Porta Genova (just outside the station!).
• - Get off at the stop VIALE MONTE NERO / VIA BERGAMO
• - As soon as you get off, walk towards the opposite direction than the tram and turn left at the first street you come across (Via Bergamo). At the end of the street you will see the 'Queen Hostel' sign on the top of our building. Our address is: Viale Regina Margherita, 9.
• ​ Option 2: Taxi (15 minutes) - it takes from 10 to 15 minutes and costs from 10€ to 15€.
• FROM LAMPUGNANO M1 (Bus Station):
• Metro M1 (35 minutes)
• - Take the RED LINE metro towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. Get off at the stop Porta Venezia (13 stops).
• - From Porta Venezia take TRAM 9 towards Porta Genova and get off at the stop VIALE MONTE NERO / VIA BERGAMO (6 stops).
• - As soon as you get off, walk towards the opposite direction than the tram and turn left at the first street you come across (Via Bergamo). At the end of the street you will see the 'Queen Hostel' sign on the top of our building. Our address is: Viale Regina Margherita, 9.
• FROM CADORNA RAILWAY STATION:
• Tram 16 (25 minutes)
• - Head to Piazzale Luigi Cadorna and follow Via Carducci for about 500m.
• - Take TRAM 16 at Largo D’Ancona towards Via Monte Velino and get off at the stop VIALE MONTE NERO / VIA BERGAMO.
• - Walk towards the opposite direction than the tram. After you pass by a small park and a news stand, you'll find Queen Hostel at the very end of the street. Our address is: Viale Regina Margherita, 9.
• FROM LINATE AIRPORT:
• Option 1: Bus 73 (30 minutes)
• - Take Bus 73 from Viale Forlanini / Via Circonvallazione (Segrate) towards Duomo M1 M3.
• - Get off at the stop PIAZZA CINQUE GIORNATE (12 stops).
• - From Piazza Cinque Giornate, follow the street Viale Regina Margherita towards the left.
• - Walk for 500m towards Porta Romana. Queen Hostel will be on your right, just after a rounded monument called Rotonda della Besana.
• ​Option 2: Taxi (25 minutes) - It takes from 25 to 30 minutes and costs 25€ (fixed rate).
• FROM MALPENSA MPX AIRPORT:
• Option 1 (cheapest one and our recommendation!): BUS Shuttle + TRAM 9 (1h25)
• - Take Bus Shuttle just outside the airport.
• - Get off at STAZIONE CENTRALE (Central Station) in the center of Milan.
• - Go to Piazza IV Novembre, take Tram 9 towards Porta Genova (just outside the station!).
• - Get off at the stop VIALE MONTE NERO / VIA BERGAMO
