Loftel Station Hostel is a wonderful hostel, just steps from Hualamphong MRT (subway) and Hualamphong Train Station.
The Location
Loftel Station Hostel is situated in a prime location, just a few minutes walk from the Hualamphong MRT (subway) and Hualamphong Train Station. There is a public city bus stop just before the subway stairs. To access the river ferry system, the Marine Department Pier is an easy, ten-minute walk. With many transport options just steps from the front door, Loftel is the perfect "home base" from which to explore the city.
Numerous restaurants and cafes as well as a variety of shops and spa/massage salons populate this vibrant area of Bangkok. Just fifteen minutes on foot from the hostel, street-stall food hawkers take over Yaroawat Road every evening. Avoid the shark-fin soup vendors, but do dine on duck noodle soups, fried dumplings, durian with sticky rice, and more!
Nearby "must-sees" include the Pak Klong Flower Market and Wat Pho, Wat Arun, the Golden Palace, and the Giant Swing. Khao San Road is less than five kilometers away. Suvarnabhumi (BKK) Airport is about forty kilometers away and easily accessible by train or car. Don Muang Airport is a twenty-minute drive from Loftel or one hour by Line Twenty-Nine bus.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Offering a mix of private and dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms, Loftel Station is fully air-conditioned and very clean. Dormitories are spacious and comfortable with high quality mattresses and linens. The ground-floor lobby houses a cafe that is open to the public during the day, but there is a twenty-four-hour reception desk that is always staffed and each room is secured with digital keycards. Dorms come equipped with luggage lockers. Locks are available to rent on request if needed.
Shared unisex bathrooms are located on each level of this multi-story building, including the ground floor. The shower stalls have multiple hooks for towels and clothes, a clothing rack, and soap/shampoo dispensers. As with the rooms and common areas, these tidy bathrooms are cleaned often and well kept to a high standard.
Common Spaces
There is a bright, clean, and air-conditioned café and common area on the street level of the hostel. Indoor and outdoor dining tables with bench seating offer plenty of space to socialize, dine, or work on a laptop. Walking maps of the city are available at reception, and tours and transport can also be booked here. A cozy "computer lab" has desktop computers, a large communal table with extra outlets and a small library of popular travel guides in numerous languages. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable!

• It is easy to get to us from MRT (Subway Hua Lam Phong Station).
