Hostel Boca en Boca is a really modern, French-owned hostel in Granada, with friendly, caring owners and a chill atmosphere. After a thorough search around the city, this hostel stands out as the nicest looking, with the best vibe and best value for money. They are definitely doing things right here.
This hostel is centrally located, right next to an old church and only a couple blocks from the central park. The area feels quite safe at night, although doors are locked at 10 p.m. and you must knock after that to get let in by the night guard. The extra level of security is comforting. This hostel is also within walking distance from the local market, a supermarket, and buses leaving for Rivas.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The hostel has a couple of dorms that are spacious, as well as variously priced private rooms. All areas are nice, clean, and comfortable. There is a range of private rooms, some with bathrooms and some without. One shared bathroom has a nice spacious shower and toilet in one. There is plenty of space to hang things and place your belongings. Rooms and bathrooms have mirrors, which seem to be one thing lacking in many hostels through Central America, so that is a bonus.
This hostel has a nice dining area and a tasty, free breakfast each morning. There is a kitchen on the other side of a garden where guests are able to prepare their own meals. There is also a bar with various beverage offerings. There is always coffee and filtered water available. In the garden, there are some huge comfortable hammocks. On a small upstairs patio, there is another chillout area. Out behind the bar where the private rooms are, there are a couple of lounge chairs. There is a lot of open-air space, so it feels nice and fresh all the time. This hostel promotes socializing, but the party moves elsewhere after about 10 p.m.
In general, Hostel Boca en Boca has earned its "excellent" rating. There are also a few tours that you can book from reception, laundry service, and plenty of information about places to go next. There is always filtered water (even though you can also drink the tap water here) and free coffee! One other unique feature is a board where other travelers can share their own suggestions and helpful tips about other popular destination in Nicaragua. For a clean, comfortable stay, with a tasty breakfast in Granada, this hostel is an excellent choice!

Hostel De Boca en Boca Reviews from the Web
Positive experience for my 1 night stay in a dorm! Beautiful clean place all around--no issue with bathrooms or showers. Great location near park and bus terminal. Lovely staff both individually and as a collective. Each person was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful and they were cohesive as a team which created a smooth guest experience.
This hostel offered everything I was looking for: activities in the evenings, clean facilities, tours and more. One of my personal favourites on this trip, I would highly recommend.
Located right in the centre of Granada, the common space is filled with hammocks, a pool table and board games to encourage mixing with other travelers. We easily made friends there. There are daily activities which further brought people together. Free breakfast is always a plus. Our private room was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all you need, and there is a supermarket less than 10 minutes walk away.
Would recommend and would stay again.
This hostel is in a great location! It is clean and comfortable. I only stayed a night, but it felt like a very welcoming environment, and it was very affordable. My only complaint would be that there were people hanging out right outside my window past midnight, and they kept me up. After listening to it for hours I kindly asked them to go elsewhere. The hostel states that they have a quiet policy after 10 pm, but it didnt seem to be enforced. Overall it was a nice place though. Id return
Really liked Boca a lot. Felt secure and had a nice time! Pretty much all I have to say.
Excellent hostel. Lovely staff. Great social and relaxation areas. Good kitchen space. Events on every day. En suite in dorm was cleaned everyday. Free Shuttle to treehouse leaves directly from hostel at various times throughout the day. Quiet after 11pm so you can get a good sleep. Met nice people here. Bed was comfortable and there was a fan for every bed so kept nice and cool. Would stay again!
Great hostel, fantastic atmosphere.
Love the outdoor kitchen.
really nice hostel, not super busy though so sometimes we couldn't do the day trips/adventures because not enough people joined. good location though and clean
Best hostel we stayed in so far!! Great atmosphere and lovely staff! The dorms were very nice, because we all had our own fan! It was the best, because the rooms stayed hot during the night but with the fan it was very doable! The kitchen was really clean en they have a nice system to keep your food in baskets! They also offer enough trips to the masaya volcan or a boottrip along the 365 little islands. Very nice and I highly recommend! The breakfast was simple but nice, pancakes with banana :)
great place and people. everythings clean and the atmosphere is very social- and cant beat the location! Would stay again any day
Wonderful hostel to stay in Granada! Many organized tours and activities for guests.
Nice hostel but people who work there are extremely slow. There is not always someone at the bar and our check-out took 25 minutes
Great place to stay! Extremely chill and the value for money is 10/10.
Their staff is super welcoming and helpful.
Great hostel, exactly what you would hope it was from the pictures. Great private room with good feng shui and one night in the dorm was ok too. Very easy to meet people and lots of chill spots.
Only minus is we had been double booked but it seems they got a new system and are sorting it out now
Good hostel, would recommend.
LOVED this hostel. Constantly booked up and for good reason. I will say that they are transitioning to a new online booking system and there have been some hiccups with that. Great juice bar and craft rum, super fun activities but I slept great.
Very nice place! Best place to meet people, breakfast is good :-)
Great location and breakfast. Kitchen was lovely as we're staff, can organise all excursions and shuttles from front desk. However when I was staying the sink was not working in the ensuite, and door did not lock
Had a trivia night so that was awesome. Kitchen is okay, always full of dishes but it's cheap to eat out here anyway.

De Boca en Boca is located in the center of Granada, just two blocks away from central park
and next door from Iglesia La Merced, best view in town (especially for sunset). From our
hostel you can easily walk to the local market to buy exotic fruits and handcrafts,

of these activities and will be happy to help you organize it and sharing our inside tips so
