We have the usual things you find in a youth hostel including internet point to inform the envious mates and family back home, laundry (gotta wash those socks sometime man!) 24hr security and luggage storage. Get your cultural fix with our regular shuttle bus from the front gate to the Vatican.
We have combined all the best attributes of a budget hostel with a great camping location in the heart of Rome. We have all budgets covered with these accommodation options:
• Mixed/shared dormitory (triples) with an ensuite. These are modern, comfortable sized rooms that sleep 3 people and come with their own shower and toilet, heater, air conditioning, fridge, storage space, bedding and electrical outlets.
• Private twins with an ensuite. Modern, comfortable rooms that sleep 2 people and come with their own shower, toilet, storage space, bedding, heating, air conditioning and electrical outlets. Individuals can only book a private bed as a twin.
• Private 5 bed mixed with an ensuite. This is a spacious modern cabin with a double and 3 single beds, 2 ensuite bathrooms, heater, air conditioning, bed linen, blankets, storage space, electrical outlets, fridge and fully equipped kitchen.
• Private individual house tent for one person. Comfortable and roomy the house tents come with real beds and pillows, are lockable and all linen is provided. Single sex bathroom facilities available.
• Private/shared 2 person house tents. Comfortable and roomy the house tents come with real beds and pillows, are lockable and all linen is provided. Single sex bathroom facilities available.

Plus Camping Roma is a short private shuttle bus ride from the Vatican and well connected with public transport from the front gate into town and the metro.
Plus Camping Roma also offers a transfer service for Ciampino airport for €12 per person and Fiumicino airport for €10 per person. Please book 48hrs in advance of transfer time. Please email info.campingroma@ecvacanze.it to reserve your transfer. Please see ‘Directions' for further details.
Our info point can send you off in the right direction with maps, tickets and excursions around the eternal city while our friendly international staff will be glad to welcome you on site at our restaurant, pub or night club, in fact any where anytime.

• We are 5 km away from the Vatican City and 500 meters away from the nearest train station.
• There are buses going to the city every 5 minutes and the bus stop is just outside the gate.
• From Termini train station you just have to take the metro direction BATTISTINI (Linea A) and get off at CORNELIA station;follow the exit signs direction 'Piazza Irnerio' and then follow the signs for 'Via Aurelia'. Once you are outside the metro you can see in front of you some bus stops next to a Mcdonalds; from there you can catch bus # 246 and get off (after 6 stops) in front of the camping village.The bus stops in front of a supermarket, please use the footbridge to cross the road to the camping village.
• For new guests catch our free shuttle bus from near the Vatican (Il Cipro metro station, Linea A) (01/05-30/09)
• When exploring Rome the shuttle bus runs to and from the Vatican (01/04-31/10).
• The Bus departs from the main gate at 8,00 -09,00-10,00-11,00-15,00-16,00-17,00 and 18,00.
• The Bus returns from Cipro Station at 08.30,09.30,10.30,11.30---15.30,16.30,17.30 and 18.30.
• Coming from Ciampino Airport take the bus to ANAGNINA metro station and go all the way down to CORNELIA metro station.
• From Fiumicino or Ciampino, you can book our shuttle service.
