May Flowers Hostel is a beautiful, clean, and relaxing hostel!
The Location
May Flowers Hostel has a perfect location in Cordoba. It is only a short walk down the road to the Mezquita Cordoba Cathedral, the Roman Bridge, and the Alcatraz De Los Reyes. It is down a quiet street, so you are close to the action but also have a retreat when you need a break. The hostel can be a little difficult to find, as it isn't well signed. Look for the number sixteen on the door and not for a sign. The sign is small and inset back behind the first set of doors. You will need to let them know if you are arriving later in the evening, because the front doors may be closed up, making it harder to find. But once you're in, it's a little haven!
Rooms and Bathrooms
The rooms are immaculately clean and really comfortable. The beds have great mattresses and linen for a superb nights sleep. The bathrooms are en suite and are also incredibly spacious and lovely. The room keys they give you will have a key on it to an allocated locker in your room to keep your valuables.
Common Spaces
The reception area contains a patio-style area, which has tables, chairs, and couches where you to can hang about and relax. You can use the small kitchenette off this area that has a toaster and a microwave for cooking. They serve a good breakfast here in the mornings and it is free.
Summary
May Flowers Hostel is a great place to relax and stay while you are in Cordoba. They have a very clean and fancy environment compared to what you will find in most backpacker-style accommodations. The atmosphere is quiet and serene.
The security of the building here is great as well, with multiple locked doors to get through the front at night and keys to your room, and during the day you will usually be met by someone at the door on your way in.
There is free Wi-Fi throughout the whole building for you to use. The staff are super friendly people and will help you out with anything you need. If you have to store luggage for a time, they can keep that for you in a secure place too.
This is a beautiful place to stay for a little bit of luxury in Cordoba!
