Loft Hostel will be a fun hostel in the centre of downtown Reykjavík. It is located on Reykjavík’s main shopping street and within 5 minutes walking distance from Hallgrímskirkja, the City Pond and Harpa Concert Hall; it literally has the best of the city on its doorstep. Loft also boasts one of the finest views in town with its large top floor balcony café overlooking the city centre – a great spot to people watch or catch a glimpse of the northern lights in winter.
Make yourself at home in our cozy lounge; make new friends at the bar or surf the web using our free WiFi. Facilities include free computer access, fully equipped guest kitchen, book exchange, free luggage storage during stay. Loft café and bar offers top quality coffee and wine and beer from local breweries, as well as some sweet and savoury treats, and our mostly organic breakfast is a great start to the day. We host regular movie nights, music events, foosball tournaments and other social events.
Loft offers a wide range of 4-8 person dorms and double rooms, all with private bathroom. Linen is included in all rooms. Free lockers are available in dormitories. Female only dorms and single rooms are available upon request.
We are there to help you out with anything you need; give you the local scoop on bars, restaurants, music and more. • Transportation from the airport is operated by two companies, Fly Bus and Airport Express. Both services connect with every incoming flight and deliver you to our doorstep. A return service is available as well, and can be arranged the day before your departure from the hostel reception.
