Il Nosadillo has a super cool vibe to it and an amazingly helpful woman who runs it! It's a home away from home!

The Location

Il Nosadillo hostel has a fabulous location! It is a ten-minute walk from the main plaza on the outskirts of the downtown area, so it's nice and quiet but not far from all of the action.

To get here from the main train station, you can walk straight down one street and it will take about twenty-five minutes or you can jump on the twenty-one bus and that will get you there in ten minutes at pretty much a small block from the hostel. Just in case, it is a good idea to let them know when you are arriving, especially if you are arriving late as they might not always be around to let you in.

Rooms and Bathrooms

The rooms here are large and spacious and a bonus is that the beds are single and not bunks, so you have your own area. The lockers are also massive, which means you can put large backpacks and a few other things in them and lock them so your stuff is secure.

There are two bathrooms with shower and toilet in each to use. They are fairly clean and the showers are decent and have hot water.

Common Spaces

The main common area is the combined kitchen and living room area on the first floor. The kitchen is large and well equipped, so you can cook meals if you feel so inclined; however, as this is one of the food capitals of Italy it is recommended to take advantage of this and eat your way around Bologna. The woman who runs the hostel is both incredibly funny and helpful and she will give you a map with all of the best pasta and gelato places and then some.

There is a couch in this area as well as two tables and chairs for socialising. Being as that it is the heart and gateway to rooms in the hostel, people tend to hang out and chat here so it is a great place to meet people.

Summary

This hostel is a super cool place to stay -- close to attractions, easy to meet people, and with a friendly owner, you cannot go wrong staying here!

GREAT LOCATION:
Il Nosadillo is a hostel in the medieval center of Bologna from where you can walk in 8 min (0,6km) to the main Square Piazza Maggiore and in 4 min (0,3km) to the famous hipster street Via del Pratello with a lot of places to go out to eat typical pasta and to get an aperitif. From Il Nosadillo you can explore all sightseeing on foot.

Feel comfortable immediately and join our family meeting people from all over the world in you home away from home.

ROOMS:
Nosadillo Hostel has 4 rooms: one female and three mixed rooms. A fully-equipped kitchen and a common room with a cozy couch, international books and free Netflix.
In every room there are big cabinets to store your bags, a shelf, light and socket to charge your cellphone.

FACILITIES:
Il Nosadillo has a great backpackers atmosphere where it is very easy to meet lots of travellers from all over the world. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen facilities (fridge, stove and kitchen equipment).

We do not have a 24 hour reception.
We have chosen to be more flexible than traditional hostels, to be more open and to have a presence only at certain times of the day. This does not mean that you will be alone we are always in touch and available to explain how the hostel works and what to do in this city. We are available at any time just to allow you to ask all the questions that will come to your mind.
Our reception is open every day from 8 am to 4:30pm, please inform us in case you plan to arrive later than 4:30pm, we will send you all the check in information by email.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We have a 72 hours cancellation policy and we will charge the full amount of the reservation 3 days before the check-in.
In case of No show we will keep the amount of the full stay from the card provided by you.
You will be contacted in case of invalid credit card or insufficient funds. The booking will be cancelled in case no alternative method of payment is provided in 24 hours.

Taxes not included - occupancy tax 3.00 EUR per person per night

Location

• Train station: from Viale Masini, keep going right around 50 meters until Via Amendola. Then walk straight until the roundabout. Then follow Via Marconi, then Piazza Malpighi, then via Nosadella
• Or either by bus 21 direction to Filanda. Get off on Piazza Malphigi bus stop.
• Take the Aerobus to the city centre and get off at the bus stop via dei Mille. It will take 15-20 min to walk. From the bus stop head left following the same street for 200m till the roundabout and then turn left taking via Guglielmo Marconi . Then keep going always straight about 1 km onto Galleria del Toro, Piazza Malpighi and finaly onto via Nosadella. Il Nosadillo is located on the right side, at number 15c.
