Don't ever go here!
This "hostel" stole my guidebook and 800 baht from me. The owner refused he was the owner and said there was no such thing when the girl at the counter previously said he was. They also allow prostitutes and charge 250baht for guests to take them into their room when they are not allowed to do that as a hostel. This place is small, overpriced, and the owner despicable.

Second worst hostel so far in all of southeast Asia. the staff did not answer any questions about Bangkok and the laundry service ruined one of my shirts. it's overpriced for what you get and the beds are extremely small. the one good thing is it didn't have bed bugs and is close to the night market and ping pong shows. nice staff but clueless and they keep trying to sell overpriced packages.

It's not worth to stay there. it's overrated, smelly, and the rooms are small, especially the bathroom. just about one square meter, it's not the same as the photos it displays. you can't evaluate it by the photos.

Expensive, overrated, and smelly! if you are going to stay here, don't. it's over-priced for hostel in thailand -- six-bed dorm costing Bhat260, you can get your own room in khao san road. i made the mistake in coming there and was shocked to see the six-bed dorm small, cramped, and smelly. so i asked for my own room for 650bhat, i could jolly well stay in a cheap silom hotel at that price. besides everything in my private room is crap. the room is tiny so i will hit something when i turn, the tv is spoilt, no attached bathroom! that reminds me that the private room size is probably just as big as most hotel bathroom. the shared bathroom is terrible too. small and tiny. there's a queue during morning peak hours. this "youth" hostel charges everything exorbitantly. 2bhats per minute for internest access when most joint charges less than 1 bhat per minute. rip-off laundry fee at 200bhat. think i'm better off washing in the river. and the tours and luggage charges are in U.S. dollars. for goodness sake, this is thailand, not USA. location-wise, it's not fanstastic as it claims. unless you are into patpong sex scene, which anyway you can't bring your desires back to hostel. it's also far from most tourist attraction. alternative? if you want BTS access, there are plenty of hostel along Sukhumvit road. the best alternative is staying in one of those guesthouses at soi kasem san 1. near to MBK and forty metres away from National Stadium BTS station. it's in the middle of everywhere. Siam paragon and siam sqaure is walking distance. near to chinatown and all the wat's near khao san road. hope this helps and please don't make my mistake of going to YHA "hostel" thailand. maybe they should named YHA hotel prices but hostel crap.

The hostel was clean and it's located 5-10 minutes from the Sky train or train station. The hostel is very close to the Silom Rd., Pat Pong markets and restaurants are near by. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, but there was only a very small outdoor area.

The hostel itself wasn't so bad, but it sure could be better. And knowing know how Bangkok works for backpackers, I would really recommend you to go some place else. The good thing about the hostel is that it's really easy to get there from the airport (just one bus). And that's very comfortable when arriving very late. But if you are a backpacker, you HAVE to go to Kaoh San Road. It's a street filled with hostels, pubs, stores, cheap travel agencies, good and cheap food, police station, post offices and it's within walking distance of all the temples. It has a great vibe, too. Hostel Thailand is half a block away from Patpong street (where all the sex freak show are) and the night market. But I had to pay Sky Trains, buses, tuk-tuks and boats (usually more than one), to get anywhere else. And being that their location is so bad, at least the prices could be good. But they aren't. I paid more getting a bed in a six-bed dorm room here than in a twin bedroom with bathroom in a hotel with a pool on the roof. The tours they offer are really rip-offs, too. I got them less than half price at Kao San Road. I hope this will help any fellow backpacker. I sure would have liked it if someone told me this before.

I stayed there four nights after arriving in Thailand. It has clean, well-furnished rooms — fantastic air-conditioning! Helpful staff, as I booked tours and buses with them. Excellent location — it's on SkyTrain's doorstep and is fairly quiet at night. It can be hard to meet other travelers since there is no common room. I would recommend it to all weary travelers who have just arrived and are looking to explore Bangkok easily.

It is a clean place to put your head down, which is nice after a long flight. The staff are friendly and are willing to help when asked. It is in a great spot to explore, with the hostel being on the Skytrain's doorstep. The only downside is there is no common room, and therefore it is hard to meet people, especially if you are in a private room!!! Ensure you take a printout of the address or a map for the taxi driver as it is not in an obvious location. If in doubt ask for the Chong Nonsi Skytrain Terminal, and the building, which says "Hostel" on the corner, is the one you are after.
