Great
Great place. Toshi and Scott are really friendly. Everything is basic in the rooms, but just what you need. TV, fridge, locks on doors (i think lockers in some rooms -- perhaps all now). They'll help you out with lift tickets, discounts on anything they can. Run by whistler locals, and it's fab. Nice kitchen to prepare food, and chat to other hostel members. little balconies to step outside. very near the lifts (creekside). thumbs up! have stayed there twice!

This place is great! The people are nice the rooms are clean (thanks to Christian and Nicol). It's located two minutes' walk from the Creekside gondola and you've got everything you need at Creekside. Market place, gym, food, internet, and much much more. It's also not that expensive. I spend there for two months and had the time of my life.

I will be back for sure. This was my best trip out here so far and i've stayed at some of the other hostels in whistler. Southside definitely was the best out of all of them. Everyone was so nice and the accommodations were excellent, and all for such a low price!

Awesome, and for the right reasons. Assuming you're there to be on the mountain as much as possible, this is perfect, it's so close to the lifts, is situated directly above a decent breakfast spot, and you share individual rooms college dorm style so it's easy to get the sleep you need to wake up early for the lifts. Nothing is fancy but everything is perfectly what is needed.

This hostel was sick! The manager, Scott, was cool as h@ll and knew so much about the area — a great help. It's right across from the Creekside Gondola and has a nice, homey atmosphere with excellent amenities. I was there last March and am trying to go this March as well. If I do, I'll definitely stay at Southside.

I stayed at this hostel for two weeks during the Whistler Job Fair aftermath. It has nice rooms with cable. The best asset this place has is the couple who run it. They are fantastic; really friendly and helpful. When I saw them on the street weeks after moving out they called me over for a chat. This is a great place to stay, especially when the ski-out to Creekside is open.
