Freedom Hostel 2 is, as the name suggests, the second hostel from the Freedom hostels group. It is newer and has more space than the original Freedom Hostel and has a rooftop terrace.
The Location
Freedom Hostel 2 occupies an admirable location in the walled Old Town of Budva. It is a relatively small area made up entirely of historical buildings hundreds of years old, and in between its walls encircling it many labyrinthine alleyways crisscross. It is all too easy to get lost in these alleys, but have no fear, the Old Town itself is very small in the end.
Rooms and Bathrooms
There are both private and dormitory-style rooms spread among the top two floors of the hostel building. The dorm beds have privacy curtains and reading lights. There are also power outlets by each bed so guests will not have to worry about how to charge their electronics. It is a must have addition to any hostel in this age of travel. There is bathroom with shower or a bathtub on each floor. There can be temporary traffic jams during the morning rush hours, but normally it is quite enough for all the guests.
Common Spaces
Freedom Hostel 2 occupies a whole three-story building. First floor contains the reception; the dining area and a tiny kitchen next to it; a cozy living room decorated with old, antique-looking furniture; and a bathroom. The guest rooms are spread around on the other floors. There is a great rooftop terrace with great views of the Old Town and the mountains behind the city. It is a perfect hangout area for guests to socialize with a a drink or two. It is important to note here that all common areas are closed off by 11 p.m. so as not to disturb the guests who would want to go to bed. After that time those who want to go on socializing are invited to go out in the city, usually as a group.
Summary
There is no question that Freedom Hostel 2 occupies a perfect location. It is also rather clear that it tends to be a party hostel. But nevertheless, it is also appropriate for those travelers who would not spend their time partying as the quiet hours set in by 11 p.m. and are well enforced. The cleanliness of the hostel in general is acceptable if not perfect. All in all, it is one of the best hostels to stay in Budva.

Location and Contact
Location
• We are located in the very heart of Old Town of Budva (Stari Grad), • which is also a historical center of the city. • If you are coming from the main Bus station it takes only 15-20 minutes walk to Stari Grad (Old Town) or you can take taxi which takes 5 minutes drive. (Price should be from 3 to 5 euros, so do not pay more than that). • When you reach Stari Grad (Old Town) enter the first gate from the main square in front of the Stari Grad (Old Town). After 20 meters turn left and you will find us in the middle of that narrow street (Brace Bocaric 2), on the right side. (Between MONA boutique and Palm square (Trg Palmi)). • 20 km from Tivat airport • 65 km from Podgorica airport
