Keep away!
This hostel is just from third world! The only good thing is the kindness of the staff. Rooms smell nasty and you have to climb narrow stairs to get your room. The kitchen is not very clean and forget having a shower at night -- water is only available in the morning. Of course, take with you a lot of cash because they do not accept credit card. In a nutshell, spend a few euros more and go to other hostel.
Bad hostel
This it is the worst hostel I've ever been. The rooms of the attic are so bad. There is a little breakfast but it's very small. The schedule of hostel is so strict. The best thing are the employees. They are very kindly.
Average place -- but cheap!
The cheapest way to have a bed in Dublin! If you don't mind the curfew. Friendly staff, dorm was ok. As usual, the place could need a little cleaning! Didn't try the breakfast, because we were leaving too early. The kitchen was closed, which was sad for us. No problems with the noise. Quiet at night, because no drunken freaks run into the dorm at impossible times!
We stayed in this hostel for two nights. It was the cheapest hostel I have found in Dublin after hours of search in the internet. For the two private double rooms we had booked we only paid 22 EUR per person. Each room had its own bathroom -- breakfast and the use of a shared guest kitchen was also included in the price. The double rooms were situated right on the top floor of the building. You had to climb up three tiny, steep stairs to get there. The beds were comfortable and it was not too noisy when you consider that the hostel is located in the center of the town. From there, you can walk to all the beautiful sights of Dublin within a few minutes. If you don't expect a stylish, modern hostel, but just a well-situated and cheap accommodation with self-catering facilities, Goin My Way is definitely the best place to stay in Dublin!

Terrible name, hard to find (a tiny stairway ending up in a busy street) but well worth the search! Prices beat that of most of Dublin (hostels advertising a 10 euro price and asking 25 euros minimum seems standard in Dublin. Goin' My Way seems to do a 15 euro fixed fare all season). Rooms are clean and spacious. Not many showers but they're good and clean. Really friendly management. Promises a clean bed, clean showers and nothing else, delivers exactly that. Located in the middle of Dublin (north bank), on a really short walk from just about anywhere.
