Clean and quite well located. No common rooms available
The hostel is well located and properly served with public transport. The dorms and bathroom are clean but there is no common room, kitchen, whatsoever. In the dorm I was in there is a nice sofa and a big TV though.

Everything a hostel should be
I stayed in Gottingen for a weekend to watch the Final Four of the European club basketball tournament, and I couldnt have picked a better accommodation. The hostel is comfy, neat, just a short walk away from the basketball arena, and by far the most inexpensive accommodation around. Yet, it doesnt feel or look cheap. It is a rather new place, and they did a good job in making it comfortable and inviting. The rooms are not crammed with beds and furniture, and there is a rather large common area with kitchen, TV, and a Foosball table. The staff seems to be mainly students, and they were very helpful and nice. I will definitely be back, next time I am in the area. Even without basketball, Gottingen seems quite an interesting city, and sure worth an overnight stay.
