Not very far from this spot, the rivers Kanika and Sujyothi join the Kaveri, and the confluence of these three rivers is known locally as the Triveni Sangam.

The food in Coorg speaks of a beautiful blend of civilizations. Stop off at local eateries for some of the best cuisine you could have on your visit to Karnataka. Be sure to sample kadubu -- a local dish made of steamed rice balls served with kadli saar, chutney, and toasted bread and butter. You should, of course, enjoy Coorg's coffee and buy a sizable portion for you to take back home.
