Best place in Old Quebec City
Great location, friendly staff, stately old structure, and lousy breakfast. We enjoyed our stay, the helpful people we met, the basement Pub after 18h, underground parking near by. Plenty of very good restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and boutiques in the area. Highly recommended, but bring your own breakfast. Quebec City is magnificent any time of year.

Awesome experience
I loved my stay at this hostel. Friendly staff, clean rooms and bathrooms, lots of activities, and decent breakfast. Great location and very reasonably priced. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in Quebec City again. Would highly recommend this hostel to others.

Good
The hostel is in a prime location and the staff are great. The room was also very clean. My only complaint would be that the showers aren't set up very well. There's not really anywhere to put your stuff and the floor was usually flooded.

Clean, spacious, friendly staff
The hostel facilities were very clean. I stayed in a 12 bed dorm which was very spacious. Hostel staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location, friendly staff, excellent value
HI Quebec is located in the heart of old Quebec, which made it convenient to walk everywhere. If I ever come back to this beautiful city, I'll stay here again! Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a hostel with good location and service and don't want to spend too much for their stay.

When I visit Quebec again, I'll come back to this hostel
I think at the end the most important are the people. I'm traveling alone for ten months. The staff and my roommates are so welcoming and hospitable. I felt like family right away. Even the mundane things like playing bingo were memorable experiences. I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to enjoy the city with likeminded travelers and locals alike. Special thanks to the best staff ever -- christian, elli, belen, julien, and more!

Clean and Professional
Very well managed and clean hostel. The staff were all very helpful. I was impressed with the free earplugs since I was put into a room with two loud snorers. The location is perfect. Because the place is run so well, you won't only find backpackers but also families. The best time to meet people, besides your own room, is during breakfast when the dining area fills to capacity. Breakfast is not free, however. Parking passes can be purchased at the hostel for $14 per day, giving you access to the city's underground parking lot close by. If you don't purchase through them, it'll cost you more.

History comes alive in the heart of the old city!
This is one of the best hostels i've ever stayed in! Great location (close to transportation, to train and bus stations, and close to all of the main attractions!). Hostel is clean and spacious. Great self help kitchen and good breakfast. One of canada's best hostels for sure.
