Pipi Patch is awesome!!! Such an awesome atmosphere to this hostel. It's in a very good location too, by the water, near some good pubs. The staff here are friendly and helpful. I ended up staying here for two months in stead of three days. Great 7 p.m. barbecue they offer as well. Cheers!!!

I stayed in a dorm and I found the rooms to be too small and cramped. It also seemed like too much of a party hostel to me. If you want relaxation this is not the place to stay.

I stayed here for three nights and it was okay. It is very friendly and the bar is great; however, it is swamped with people from the backpacker buses who all know each other and tend to dominate. As a result the staff are not that friendly and the communal kitchens are badly looked after and stocked. There was one hob working in the entire kitchen. The pool is the size of a jellybean. Stay somewhere else and visit the bar.

I only stayed in this hostel two nights (I think it was this one!) but it was fun. The bar is crazy and there are loads of travelers to meet. The reception desk closes early, though, and I'd recommend more comfy chairs in the TV area. But I'd recommend it!
