Took a long time to get booked into hostel, they did apologise. room was excellent also breakfast and dinner in the evening. a perfect place to visit st malo.

The best 21 euros I ever spent!

A room on the ground floor with access to exterior, a welcoming team at the bureau d'accueil and a wonderful French breakfast included in the price. My only criticism would be that the security guard was hard to find at midnight when I arrived. Perhaps clearer directions towards the office would be better. Other than that, all was great!

I stayed in this hostel in June 2006. This is a very good hostel though it is a bit far from the "city centre" of St. Malo. However, it is near the beach. They offer a lot of different rooms (some with no bunks), and I stayed in a three-persons room with en-suite. Very good and clean. The breakfast is a basic one -- bread, hot drinks, and cereals.

St. Malo is beautiful! The hostel is ok. The population is very heterogeneous backpackers, families, the old, and the crazy. Some rooms are really nice, while others are creepy, so you should ask for a room with a bathroom in it.

The hostel was great. There was a fully equipped kitchen and the place was very clean. The staff were great. I don't know about the people as we arrived at an off-peak time.
