Raahi Hostel is a quaint little place, which attracts a truly international audience. With amazingly helpful staff, beautiful interiors, and a first-class shared kitchen, this place is worth every single cent you are paying for it.
The Location
The hostel is situated right next to Rai ka Bagh Palace Railway Station; therefore if you are staying here, make sure to buy your ticket to and from this stop. This is the southeastern part of the city, and while other hostels are normally closer to the fort and the other attractions of Jodhpur, this location will give you easy access to the Umaid Bhawan Palace which is not the case with other hostels. While there are not too many eateries and restaurants nearby, the hostel offers food on its top floor.
Rooms and Bathrooms
Raahi Hostel offers dorms of different sizes, with the biggest one accommodating up to ten guests. A great innovation of the hostel is that all beds come with a shelf next to them, which makes it really comfy for storing your personal items, especially if you end up on the top bunk. Lockers are also provided and the beds have mini lamps and electronic sockets next to them. However, the blankets could be thicker and bed sheets are not provided -- instead, you sleep directly on the materass cover, which is not too hygienic. There are plenty of bathrooms and they are clean and come with toilet paper and soap.
Common Spaces
There are several common areas. The first one is in front of the entrance to the reception in the courtyard. This has a number of garden chairs around a table on a gravel surface. The second one is the rooftop terrace which has a fake grass surface and lots of pillows to sit on. Here, you can order food and drinks. The best place of the hostel, however, is the common area on the bottom floor, which has an amazing design, swinging chairs and many boardgames, a TV, and a selfie corner where you can take photos of yourself in a turban. The kitchen is right next to this space and is full of modern equipment as well as a shared food corner and free tea and coffee. At 4:30 every day, you also get a free chai if you are around.
Summary
All in all, Raahi Hostel is wonderful! You can see that the owners have traveled themselves and know exactly what a traveler needs. You feel really pampered here and the great interiors make you want to stay at the hostel the whole day.

Raahi Hostel is located exactly opposite to the main gate of 'K N College', in Circuit House. We are just 2 minutes walk from Raika Bagh train station and a 5 minute walk to Jodhpur main bus stand.
