Fantastic staff and great location!

Very good, great location, great staff, very friendly, good atmosphere ;-) just one minus - a bit noisy on Sunday morning, but it's down to guests. Strongly recommend BH.

we had really great time staying at barna hostel. t's on a good location. they clean the room and change the sheets everyday! the stuff was very helpfull. we liked Roberto like our uncle(dayu). thank you! ilke melis pelin(ccler)

in some words, we were very surprised by the quality of all things especially at such a good price!

Excellent value for money. Clean and tidy and unfussy. 24 hour reception means you can come and go as you please. Much better value than the Regente hotel, just a few blocks away, which costs twice as much for same sized rooms with smaller bathrooms.

The staff did not speak any English and we didn't encounter any other English travelers there. We were told to be silent when arriving at night, it was not at all like the fun and lively hostel we had just left. There was building work going on outside of our window and we got charged for an en suite room when in reality we had a shared bathroom. All in all it was expensive and we did not feel comfortable at all.

The place is cool and staff is very friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. The location is excellent even though the rooms on the Rambla maybe noisy at night. I'll definitely visit them again!!

At the reception were turning two men and one lady.The men were very friendly, the lady didn't know anything about how to get to the airport (with 3 stations at one block next to the B&B, "no underground" she said!)and how to call a taxi at 5.30a.m.! incredible!very good position, not so clean the rooms.

Good and calm place to stay, really close of LA PEDRERA and 10min walking from Plaza Catalunya, nice area and hostal.

Excellent place to stay if you are looking for a calm place, in a posh neighbourhood, but in a walking distance from the Ramblas. Very nice and helpful staff. And Barcelona is definitely worth a visit

POSITIVE:

The rate was reasonable for the overall quality, the position and the period.

Staff was helpful and friendly.

NEGATIVE:

They assigned us a room that has insufficient natural lighting and airing.

Too many noises coming from the corridor and other rooms, even at night.

good location , noise of other costumers and doors at night, if you have problems to sleep its dificult but not too much.

We found it impossible to sleep in Barna Hostal! The doorbell was ringing all night, and we could hear every word spoken in the reception during the night. We should have stayed for 5 nights, but found it nescessary to check out after only one. We tried to argue to get some money refunded, and after three days they refunded 50 euros out of the 810 payed. Stay away from Barna Hostal!!

Excellent location, very nice and helpful staff, highly recommended!

The room reserved was a bit dark and not quite newly redecorated. Nice couple staff but we had a misunderstanding regarding the fact that the room could have been chenged.

The rooms looked nice. Friendly staff, the shared bathrooms and rooms were very clean. Less comfortable was that the place is noisy, thin walls (I could here what our neighbours said and how hard they snorred) and you can hear the doorbell when someone wants to come in. It's called B&B but breakfast is not included in price and its toast&jelly.

Very nice people in the reception, very clean and close to all shopping-streets! Good with someone working at the hostel 24/7!
