Rajasthan is a region in northwest India that covers quite a vast area, all the way to the Pakistani border. It is an incredibly hot region, as much of it is bordering or in the Thar Desert, so make sure you stay hydrated while you are here. Getting around is best done by a combination of train and buses and it will take a while to travel, so include time for this in your travels.

There area is rich with the history of royal families, and their legacies still live on through the amazing palaces that you can explore. While you are here you also shouldn't pass up the opportunity to go on a camel safari into the dessert and stay overnight. It is an experience that you will never forget and is an amazing experience to have.
