If you are looking for a Stuttgart hostel, there are several options to choose from. It is most convenient to stay in one of the five inner boroughs which are named after their geographical location Mitte (Center), Nord (North), Süd (South), Ost (East), and West (West).
Mitte includes most important sights and the main light rail station, Nord is the greenest part of the city with lots of parks and open space, Süd is a mostly residential quarter with a funicular (inclined cable car), Ost features several Neoclassical villas and West is home to Solitude castle.
