A walk down the road Teresópolis-Friburgo showcases a selection of giant sculptures created by Jardim do Nêgo, which the artist carves in gullies along his property near the road.
Accommodation here is wide ranging, with resorts, bed and breakfasts, hostels, and hotels. Many of the tourists that come to experience the environmental diversity in the region stay in some of Nova Friburgo’s hostels, so a stay there will give visitors the chance to connect with other travelers and perhaps organize activities outside of the town.
