• Bus: Bus Eireann: Galway – Ballina service. Alight at Cong (Ashford Castle Gates). Facing the gates, go left on the R345 and take the next right. Hostel is on the right hand side.
• Car: From West/Connemara/Cong (1.5km): Come through village of Cong, at stone cross in middle of road take left for Headford/Galway Rd past Ashford Castle Gates. Take the next turn right, the hostel is on your right.
• From North/Ballinrobe: At Ashford Castle Gates take a left. Take the next turn right, the hostel is on your right.
• From South/Galway: In Cross, watch out for sign for Cong to left. After Fahy Car Sales go around the corner and watch out for signs for Lakeland House to left take. If you see Ashford Castle Entrance gates you have missed the turn to the left.
