There can be some noise overnight from the roads adjacent to the hostel and from other hostel guests, so earplugs are suggested.
Rooms and Bathrooms
This large hostel offers private rooms for up to four people, and dorm rooms for four to twelve people (mixed and female options are available). The hostel attracts individual travelers and large groups, so there is a mix of guests in residence. The rooms are on multiple levels of the building, with access via elevator or stairs.
The sturdy bunk beds have decent mattresses, clean white linens, and privacy curtains; however, the pillows are a little thin. Each bed has individual power sockets, USB charging points, and reading lights. Electronic keycards are issued for access into the guest areas and dorm rooms. For security, there are under-bed lockers for each guest to use their own padlock.
The rooms feature en suite bathrooms, including shower and toilet. Additional shared bathrooms are separated by gender, with several shower cubicles and decent hot water in each. The cubicles have sufficient room to change within them, despite not having a separated section for changing.
Common Spaces
There is a kitchen with a large dining area attached, with substantial cooking facilities catering for several users at once. Breakfast is served to guests in the dining area, with selections including cereal, toast, tea/coffee, and juice.
In the hostel’s foyer, there are many couches and tables for guests to hang out and use the good, free Wi-Fi. Entertainment in this area includes a TV, large chess set, and book exchange. There is also a games room on a mezzanine level, with foosball and pool table. Finally, there is a rooftop courtyard area for guests. With many guests in the hostel, those looking to socialise won’t have a shortage of fellow travelers to meet.
Other useful features of the hostel include free luggage storage, laundry service for a fee, and vending machines for snacks.
