The modern building (opened in 2006) is adjacent to the 19th Century corn mill situated next to the picturesque Crana River in County Donegal’s second largest seaside town, Buncrana (Bun Cranncha). We are the largest hostel in Inishowen, Co Donegal.
We offer 51 cosy beds in total, 2 large, spacious dormitories, 4 family rooms & 1 Double / Twin which are all equipped with en-suite shower rooms and toilet facilities. Single Rooms available on request. Rooms with disabled en-suite also available.
We provide a large self-catering kitchen with well-maintained amenities and FREE WiFi access, and FREE Car parking. We are members of the Green Hospitality and have a certified Eco label.
Buncrana town is only a 15 minute walk away. Close to the town there is stunning sandy beaches and beautiful walks alongside Lough Swilly a special area of conservation which can make a great day out for all the family.
The Hostel is only a 45 minutes drive from Letterkenny and 20 minutes drive from Derry/Londonderry
Tullyarvan Mill including the hostel is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered charity so it's nice to know that when you stay you are also making a direct contribution to the local community too!
For groups we also offer venue and meeting room hire.

• Tullyarvan Mill Tourism Hostel is located in Buncrana, Inishowen, County Donegal.
• When approaching Buncrana from Derry/Londonderry or from Letterkenny travel through the town of Buncrana, following the R238 towards Carndonagh.
• Once at the town of Buncrana, continue straight through the traffic lights and mini-roundabout, passing Buncrana Credit Union and Super Valu shopping centre on your right.
• 300 metres further take the first left over Westbrook Bridge, signposted for Tullyarvan Mill and Dunree Fort.
• After 200 metres you will see a sign for Tullyarvan Mill on your right.
• Take this right turn and follow to the end of the road.
