Fairly good
Reception staff fine. Bathroom fine. Dorm space tight, lack of storage and coat hooks to hang jackets etc.
Kitchen was goodish, but please supply CLEAN tea towels for drying dishes - this is so important.
One other thing......prices seem to increase the closer you are to the arrival date. If you have definite dates book in advance.
Friendly staff, good location
I learned so much about Irish history from talking to the staff here. Clean and comfortable. Stayed four days, wished I could've stayed longer. Only complaint is walking up the hill to the hostel.
Good hostel with an excellent location
The kitchen was really spacious and nice. There's also a TV in the common room. The wifi works really well, and the bathrooms are pretty clean. Very close the city and VERY easy to find from the bus station (there's signs and everything once you cross the river). Great host as well!
Excellent
Sheila is a really nice place to stay, nice staff, nice room and nice kitchen. very near city center, bus station, English market. If you want to travel in Cork, you should choose Sheila's Hostel!
Good staff with good facilities
The staff is really nice, we are a group of four people traveling together but booked separately, she helped us to change to same room. Besides, she is really willing to help with providing us useful information and suggestions for transportation and place to go. Facilities are clean, room a bit tiny. But is fine still.
Great!
Sheila's is everything you need. Friendly and knowledgeable staff during the day -- a bit sullen at night, but they do their jobs well. Clean, convenient, and comfortable.
Pretty good
beds were fine, security is great, reception people are very helpful and friendly, location is good. The Wi-Fi only works in the internet room in front of the hostel, not in your rooms. You have to pay $3 for breakfast, which isn't much. The doors slam shut. Overall, it was fine. I would probably stay here again.
great place, awesome staff, with stuff for sale in reception (because nothing in reland is open after 11). computers are pricey though. everything was super clean. just beware the showers -- they have high pressure, and are cold at first, so the first time you push the button, wrap the shower curtain around you so you stay dry, then the pipes will prime with warm water. price was okay but i think maybe it was a scam. "oh we don't have any of those rooms available anymore, but you can get this for 3 euro more." they were upselling i thought.
