• How do you get to Isla Grande?
• 1. you have to be at the port in Cartagena between 8:00 and 8:30 in the morning. Keep in mind that boats only go to the island once a day (leaving daily at 9:00 am). The position on Google Maps is 10.419374, -75.551495 (10°25'09.7 'N 75°33'05.4 'W).
• 2. go to hut 1 and ask for Deniris.
• 3. at her place you pay your ticket. It costs 70,000 COP per person (one way) plus 20,000 COP per person tax (entrance to the national park). So if you go there and back, you have to pay 160.000 COP p.p. in total.
• 4. please inform Deniris that you have booked with Ecocamping El Frutal.
• 5. she will help you to give the right instructions to the captain of the tourist boats. The captain will know at which pier to let you out.
• 6. Once on the island, it is not far from the jetty to El Frutal (about 100m). You can find us on Google Maps here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fjKvcgaLWhmVGqH77. If you have any problems, please call the owner Gregorio or send him a WhatsApp message.
• 7. Gregorio will give you all the necessary information on how to get back to Cartagena or to another island. .
• We wish you a wave free boat ride to the island and we will see you in the camping.
